Uma’s from Portland, Oregon majoring in Biological Engineering. This year, she’s working on the sap flux project, analyzing the cooling effect around Cayuga Lake by analyzing sap flow in trees. She also is helping finish the hydroelectric dam demo to display as a teaching tool at the Cayuga Nature Center.
