Lucy Alcoba is majoring in Atmospheric Science at Cornell’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. As a member of CU GeoData’s air team she has worked as the Northeast Regional Climate Center delegate and explored how extreme precipitation has impacted Ithaca and surrounding communities historically. She is currently working on examining temperature and precipitation changes in the region over time. Outside of GeoData, Lucy is a member of the Cornell Chapter of the American Meteorological Society and the Forecast Team where she creates weekly forecasts for Ithaca.
