Jesse McDonald is majoring in electrical and computer engineering in Cornell's College of Engineering. On CU GeoData's tech team, he is building a drone to collect radar data on vegetation density in the greater Ithaca area. This data collection will help GeoData better understand Ithaca's flora and geography, and the drone build has potential for helping conduct future research in other areas of interest to GeoData.
