Jaden Lau is majoring in Atmospheric Sciences and Environment & Sustainability at Cornell's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. As part of GeoData's Air Subteam, he has been analyzing long-term soil moisture changes in the Northeast in order to explore potential relationships with the extremification of precipitation since the past few decades. Outside of GeoData, Jaden is part of Dr. Angeline Pendergrass' precipitation research group, where he is currently researching correlations between precipitation and resulting streamflow in a watershed. Jaden is also involved in the Cornell Chapter of the American Meteorological Society, Wind Symphony, Amateur Radio Club, Mapping Society and Asian American InterVarsity.
