Bella Hu is a senior studying Information Science in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. On CU GeoData's Technology Team, she is assisting in building a drone that uses synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and remote-sensing techniques to gather data about the topography of the Finger Lakes Region, to eventually analyze the region's plant health. On the Data Team, she is researching ways to incorporate generative AI into the WAVES project for users to have a more interactive experience. Bella plans on going into the data science industry after graduation.
